Director of Curriculum and Learning
- Teaching emphasizes what teachers do -
The true measure of a good teacher is how well and how deeply the students learn. Teaching is measured on learning, not on ground covered. Teachers need to be learners of the subject and the effectiveness of their teaching.
- Learning emphasizes what students know and are able to do successfully
- Assessment emphasizes how students can show they know -
Assessment results drive curriculum and instruction.
